G'day all, I taught at this school from 1976 to December 1978. I planted the eucalyptus tree near the school hall in 1978 to mark my time at the school and the birth of my daughter, Helen. The time I spent at the school was an exciting and enjoyable experience. Good luck to you all.

It is a real shame that Mr Aitchison is leaving because he was my favourite teacher EVER! He was always good fun in class and is very funny! Good Luck in the future!!!

Hi I left now Hammond nearly a year ago. For the time I was there it was great I was sad when I left.

Crofton Hammond Junior is the best school ever ! Even though I'm leaving in July (boohoo) I'm going to miss the school !

Hello all, I've recently just had contact with a fellow pupil from the dark ages of 1986 (when I left!).
just thought it was worth checking out the site, looking for a few old memories.
Good luck to all those moving on (especially if you're heading to the Royal Hospital School in Ipswich as I did. It is a big move but it pays off).

I used to go here, I am now at Crofton. I loved this school and all the teachers especially Mrs Parker, she was the best.

hi to all Crofton Hammond students, I left in 1999 and I still miss it!!! I am at university now in Warwick, and obviously I owe it all to going to a fantastic junior school!! Enjoy your time there..it goes so quickly!!!

Hi! I was at Crofton Hammond in years 3 & 4, then I moved to Italy, where I lived for two years. I really miss the school, even now that I'm in year 7. I now live back in Scotland.

Hello everyone at Crofton Hammond Junior School. I visited your website to see if it had changed since I left in 1997. I used to work in the office and library. I think your website is very impressive, and I am pleased to say that the school is looking better than ever. What an exciting place to be!

I attended the school from 19984 - 1989 and I was in Mrs. Wareham's class in the 1st year, Mr. Dennison's in the 2nd year, Mrs. Wright's in the 3rd year and Mr. Aichisons in the 4th year! I had a great time at school and fondly remember my time there. Recorder lessons with Mrs Cooper! I am now a primary teacher in Devon and music is my special subject! Any plans for any reunions, did anything ever happen of 9/9/1999??? Thank you for my happy school days! I remember Mrs. Knapp, Mrs. Scollap and Mrs Landsdown too!

I went to Crofton in the 80's and it was the BEST time in my life! NOTHING but happy memories :-) I fondly remember Miss Hart, Miss Wright, Mr Stride, Mrs Shand, Mr White, Mr Denison etc and the assemblies were fab! I still miss Crofton. Miss Hart instilled in me a love of music, sport and learning and if I could meet her again today I would surely thank her for these gifts. Crofton Hammond, I salute you! Axxx
